I used Rea for over ten years. They said I didn't have to file w/ RITA that year but they missed a 1099 for misc income. I received an invoice for amount due, and $33 in interest and penalty. All Rea had to do was either admit an error was made on their part and offer to pay for the interest and penalty, or not admit any fault on their part but apologize and offer to pay. No apology was made and partner offered to pay the $33 on a personal check to make this go away. It wasn't the money - - I was looking for customer service... read more
