Beware of viewing Jim Potterfields rental properties. He will tell you whatever necessary to get you to pay for the credit/criminal background check! We were COMPLETEY honest and upfront with him about our situation and all credit issues (my boyfriends was terrible yet mine was near 700 with 2 default accounts). He stated that it was "simply procedural" and that "everything was fine". Yet, after getting the run around for 2 weeks Jim came back with a denial?! I'd like to thank Jim Potterfield for everything that he did to make the purchase of my first home so stress free and easy. Although he was the Seller's agent, he went above and beyond in so many ways to help me throughout each step of the way. The referrals for the home loan, home insurance and home inspection people were extremely helpful. Jim is very experienced and knowledgeable and he was my #1 resource. He answered every phone call and email almost immediately, which was extremely reassuring.
