I had a very disappointing experience renting through RE/MAX Rental Resources in Columbia, MO, specifically at 1110 E Broadway - B. While the team was generally responsive, most interactions felt reactive rather than solution-oriented. In many cases, responses consisted of directing me back to the website or explaining why issues could not be addressed, rather than working toward resolution. People working there are rude, aggressive and keep cutting you off while you are talking. One of their employees will do whatever it takes to not return your deposit even when you are not on the lease contract anymore.
After living at a property from them for just over two years, I do not have much good to say about this rental company. As a tenant I did everything I was supposed to. My neighbors unit had a pipe burst under our flooring which caused flooding into my unit. I had put in numerous maintenance requests and when my maintenance requests were finally answered I was left with very little answers until my 5th or 6th maintenance request for the same issue. I have lived in my apartment for 4 months and I have gone through four management companies. This one just to go over and is by far superior. Things I've been trying to get done since the day I moved in have been done within days of me asking. They're always friendly, no one ever acts like you're bothering them when you have a question. I asked for a copy of my lease from the first management company and the second and the third but when I ask the 4th management company I got it. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Maitenance was slow and never fixed issues in a timely manner. I went 6 days without hot water before maitenance was able to come out and fix it. Which was the 4th time in a little over one year of renting the house.
