I was rented an apartment by this Remax which turned out to be an illegal unit in a 2 family building that was being rented as 4 units. After 3 years this was discovered and There was no recourse- the fire department had the landlord force myself and the other tenants out within one week and the short notice meant nothing could be found within months- and I was forced to move in with family.
