Fire James Robinson. We made an offer on a property James Robinson had listed with a request for response in 24 hours. This unethical excuse asked for 26 hours lying, using the guise that his clients are elderly and having problems with technology. Strung us out to the 30 hour mark then admitted (probably lied) he was waiting for another offer to come in but would have a counter offer to us by the end of the night. I would highly recommend not working with Jim or Maria mackinnon. They have made my first home buying experience everything but easy. I gave a full price offer with paying my own closing costs. I have paid for a thorough inspection and two appraisals since they weren’t happy with the first just to be left with nothing. They are greedy and did not educate their seller on anything nor tried compromising on a home that needs A LOT of work. I had an extremely difficult time using Ability Plus (Carmel) for property management. After a tenant had moved out, six weeks passed and after visiting the property, I found that it was not even cleaned and not in showing condition. When attempting to communicate with the staff about marketing, charges, etc., they repeatedly failed to even extend the courtesy of responding to an email. I was very disappointed in the execution of taking care of our property, as well as the blatant refusal to communicate.
Jimmy is a very forward thinker. Staff is great and supportive. A very positive place to work
