I have never experienced a banking relationship where being a new customer feels more like a punishment than something the bank actually values. I would have given rating in minus but doesn't have that option. Very disappointing experience at this RBC branch. I spoke with a female manager regarding a bank draft and was told that the draft I had could not be used. Based on her advice, I travelled to National Bank and went through the trouble of obtaining another bank draft, only to find out that my original draft was completely valid. The only reason I'm giving this branch one star is because there's no option to give zero. The one star is for how clean the bank is so kudos to the cleaning staff. As for RBC and this branch, they seriously need to work on their customer service. Every single time I go in, there's an issue. The response from the tellers or the branch manager is always, "You can do that online." If I could do everything online, then why have a branch or a manager at all?
