Rick Bent Flooring did an amazing job on our floor, I couldn't be more impressed from sales to installation. I have nothing but great things to say. Do Not Use this company. They installed a new floor in my entire home, and when it started buckling and the wood curled due to improper acclimation of the wood and improper installation, they would not fix it. We trusted Rick Bent; that was a MISTAKE. He does not stand behind his work.
Rick Bent installed a wood floor in my entire home. He did not acclimate the wood properly, and when the wood flooring cupped, he would not fix the problem DO NOT USE RICK BENT FLOORING. Rick Bent does not stand behind his work. He claims to be an expert, but when something goes wrong, he claims it's not his fault.
The sales experience was fine - but Rick Bent not only did a poor job of installation, but he doesn't stand behind his work. On our job, they didn't acclimate the wood, used the wrong trowel, mixed the leveling compound incorrectly, didn't leave expansion joints as required by the manufacturer and when our floor buckled he refused to fix it telling us it was our problem and to "read the fine print on the back of the contract".
