I own a Ryne filtration system and needed to exchange the carbon media in the tank. I called to get a price and was quoted $200 for the service call and $180 for the carbon. The technician came and said that that was the wrong price and he didn't have any carbon with him. I called to make another appointment and was told $200 service call plus $400. I called back a few days later to ask if they would soak and reinstall the new carbon on site or give me a new tank. I was told a new tank. The same technician came without a new... read more

If I could give a lower review I would. Rayne installed my water softener and purifier, and the initial install went fine. The problems started when I moved and needed the system transferred to my new home. I called and scheduled an appointment for them to remove the system from the old house. I waited at home for the technician—no call, no show. They also scheduled a separate time to visit the new house ahead of installation, but again, no one showed up and no one called. I am absolutely appalled by my recent experience with Rayne Water. This company has shown an utter lack of professionalism, ethics, and respect for its customers. It started when a representative from Rayne Water showed up at my home uninvited, knocking aggressively on my window. He misled my wife by claiming he was there for a routine maintenance visit. We purchased a Guardian 1250 Softener unit from Rayne Water, Irvine. The unit is a replacement for our 17-year-old RXD unit. Still working but at a reduced level of efficiency. I called the office (the Irvine office which is the office that covers my geographical area). The on-duty technician, Andrew, discussed my unit and issues that I was having via phone and exchange of photos.
