My grandmother was quoted a tree removal for $450-$500 (to cut up a tree) or a $1,000 to remove the stump and all. He showed up and charged her $1,000 and left the stump. She explained that this was not the agreement. After my grandmother spoke to him about this, he disagreed with her and sent his wife to my grandmother’s house to pick up the $1,000.
