Well informed. Informative visit and he pointed out findings on my spine CT that no other back physician/surgeon had discussed with me (and may not have noticed). Explained the likely cause of my chronic low back pain which has a higher likelihood of responding to surgery!! Thouroughly discussed the surgical approach for my collapsed disc as well as for my spondylolyhthisis. Dr. Walkup was great I loved how he listened to my concerns regarding my MRI and explained to me what my options are. He was awesome. His office staff is great as well.
Writing this review three weeks post surgery.I was terrified of the surgery, especially on the spine, but Dr. Walkup’s team made it so uneventful. I started in pre-op with a lovely heated blanket and cheerful nurses, woke up in the same position with the same people, and I didn’t even realize I had had the surgery. Three weeks post I feel incredible and a completely without pain for the first time in years. I cannot thank him enough for suggesting the surgery and for his team for making it so easy! Highly highly recommend .
Dr Walkup saved me from excruciating pain. I was in agony from a neck injury. And was unable to sleep for days from the pain. Dr Walkup saw me after a referral and ordered an epidural injection with Dr Tran. After the injection I was finally free of pain and was able to sleep at night without pain. Thank you Dr Walkup and Dr Tran!!
