Dr. Hoffman is a compassionate and thorough doctor. He is a reserved person, but not cold and disinterested. I must note, Dr. Hoffman ran a rather high volume dual diagnosis inpatient rehab. In my own personal opinion, I feel the sentiment toward his care could be influenced by this. I was a patient there myself. If that influenced my critique I'd honestly say his care toward me at that time was excellent, in an operationally functional and clean facility plagued by the same dysfunction as most every substance abuse treatmen... read more
This doctor is awful. He forgot what dosage he prescribed me and didn’t have my medication filled when I was in patient at Discovery mental health, when I went to pick it up he had the dosage at 25mg twice a day…when I was prescribed 100mg… and we talked about that being my dosage the day before. He is very unprofessional and should not be prescribing medication. God save his soul.
Don't even waste your precious time. "Dr Hoffman" is unavailable. Unprofessional and downright unethical. I made a formal complaint against his license. Beware.
He is a great psychiatrist and he prescribed me the right medicines to help treating my mental illness
Dr. Raymond Hoffman saved my life. After weeks (months) of suffering from a pain in my head caused by an SNRI drug which everyone told me shouldn't be happening, Dr. Hoffman diagnosed me with what is tentatively termed a "complex migraine", and put me on a strong anti-seizure medication, Topomax. I had been in hospitals, seen doctors, other psychiatrists, some who were outright mean because they didn't believe me because nothing was showing up on MRI's or in other tests.
