The first appt felt like there was lack of bedside manner, but after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th visits, he is caring, explains and he is very empathetic. Also his staff is extremely helpful. And when you call his office, in my experience, you can get to an assistant almost immediately.
I left in tears. After months of being in pain and having a few positive labs my primary doctor ran, I was so hopeful we could get some answers. He came and sat at his computer with his back to me while he asked me routine questions. I gave him a full page of all the symptoms I’ve been experiencing, but he dismissed them because I didn’t have the classic physical rash of lupus. He did a quick exam and said that he wasn’t sure what was wrong with me, but never ordered any further labs to even try to find out. I am now waiting... read more
