Best real down to earth Dr. I have ever been around. There is nothing he hasn't seen. Been involved in sports for so many years and also with older people with arthritis.

I was born with hip dysplasia. Since my birth, I NEED the best orthopedic Doctor. Dr. Shea travels with The University of Louisville football team. Enough said. I was extremely impressed with his patience explaining MRI, CTSCANS, exrays, and reasons for his diagnosis. His mannerisms as a doctor is professional NOT condescending. I'm thankful to have insurance, but I would pay to go to him if I had to sacrifice other things. When i find a doctor this good, I would highly recommend the person.
Very disappointing. Will not go back! I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Because my job entails using my arm quite frequently (I'm a packer for a large warehouse), I needed Dr. Shea to fill out paperwork required by my job to allow for accommodations so I could continue working. He did sign the paperwork and told me to fill out myself. Asked for extension three months later. Arm 70% healed. Was told I needed to make another visit. At $300 a visit, that's too much just to get his signature.
