If you are tired of being treated like a number or rushed thru appointments I highly recommend Kurker Family Medicine as an alternative. Dr. Kurker is thorough, compassionate, and takes his time w/each of his patients. His many years of experience combined w/his high science/innovative approach makes him one of the best family medicine docs around. Additionally his APRN Farhiya and his PA-C Zack are both equally kind, knowledgeable and proficient.
Dr. Kurker always takes the time to address all issues. He listens and makes recommendations. His clinical skill is excellent and I fell confident in his care. He has a sense of humor (dry) and communicates well.
I had only one visit to the office this year. However, they sent me two bills for two different days. I called the office and they cancelled the second bill. This is Insane, unprofessional and cheating !
A very disappointing initial appointment. He seemed hurried, uninterested in my concerns, wouldn't treat me as a partner in my care, almost argumentative at times. Based on this experience, I've chosen someone else for my care.
My husband had been seen by many specialists without a viable diagnosis. Dr. Kurker after only two visits and recommended testing diagnosed him accurately. Months of time had passed, when he should have been treated for his critical illness. Dr. Kurker and his caring staff made certain testing, appointments and support was achieved in a timely manner. Excellent service, compassionate Care!!!
would be in waiting room for a very long time, and then eventually brought into an exam room where we would wait for another hour. it was insane.
This is a practice to avoid !!! It has a revolving staff of doctors and PAs. They cannot seem to LISTEN. Confusion is their art whether it be a prescription, keeping track of appointments and even mixing up patients. I stopped using this office a few years ago. Now a neighbor complained to me of the visit which was even worse!
I was not going to say anything and just leave this practice with my husband and I but decided it was my duty to report what happened to us with this practice. Since the last few years it has been a revolving door of numerous physicians and physicians assistants and never anyone staying there. I personally never saw Dr. Kurker and my husband also has not seeing him in years. So we where constantly with new doctors or assistants. Patient for 10+ years and I never met Dr. Kurker PA's were fine Every record is paper. Antiquated, destined for obsolescence. Given the wrong prescription that could have killed me - my pharmacy sent me and Kurker a letter informing us of the lethal mistake, no acknowledgement from Kurker nor his staff. Had an appointment scheduled for my medical issues but they cancelled via letter, pls. reschedule. I called with an emergency at 11 am on a Wednesday and I got the machine. |I am SO DONE.
