Do yourself a favor and do not use Barry Trahan appraisal services. I was almost done with refinancing my home when Barry undervalued my home. Even though a real estate friend of mine found MANY comps that were closer to my home, sold more recently and were even smaller than mine that sold for more than the value I needed to refinance, Barry insisted on using comps of houses that were farther away, smaller and in less desirable neighborhoods. I lost my $500 appraisal fee and was not able to refinance. Enough said.

Harassing does not get you a loan approval. Good credit, a honest appraisaiser and being up front and honest are highly recommended to get your loan approved. Honesty is the best policy. An appraiser cannot change that outcome !
