The worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a doctor. Abrasive, aloof, and argumentative. Won’t listen to the patient.
Honestly my relationships with doctors is not always the great because I ask so many questions and I obsess over every little thing. Dr. Ray is the best dermatologist I have ever seen and I’ve seen 3 to 4. She took samples, she listen to me, she answered my concerns. And she was so kind just wanted to talk. I absolutely loved her. And on top of that the appointment was super fast !!
Ochsner's Dr. wanted me to have an EMERGENCY appointment with this Dr. His office called 2 times, each time saying it was an emergency & would she fit me in. The reply from Dr. Ray's office was NO! She was able to see me 6 (SIX) days later. That day she kept me waiting 32 minutes! She spent the small amount of time she was able to a lot me talking about herself & NO apology for the inexcusable wail. Disgraceful!
I think Dr. Marilyn Ray is fantastic! She is knowledgeable, personable, totally professional, and very efficient in her administration of care ... all exceptionally so!! It is always a pleasure to see her and I feel eminently well cared for!
I’ve been to Dr. Ray twice about the same issue and each time I felt rushed. She does not listen to my concerns or clarify things well. She doesn’t even really ask questions. She miscommunicated whether or not she’d be taking skin off of me after I specifically asked and the only reason I found out what was really happening was when I saw the skin on her tweezer. Due to the fact that she doesn’t listen, I don’t have confidence that my issue will be solved anytime soon. I’ll try to find another derm.
I found Dr. Ray very professional and courteous. She answered all of my questions and provided the treatment I needed for the issue I was dealing with at the time.
I can give less than one star because I felt she is not at all capable, did not give proper treatment and not listening what I am trying to say. Completely disappointed with her treatment, waste of my time and waste of my money.
