I had a great rehab for my post ACLR surgery with physiotherapist Jamil Al Jallad for the last 3 months. They have a clean space, courteous front desk staff and friendly assistants which was great to have during these covid times. When I came the first session after my surgery (week 1), I was still in my brace and relying on crutches to get around, and also practically stuck in my room. Showed up 15minutes early to fill out the pre-evaluation forms. Following this, I had to wait another half hour to 45mins before being called into the room. The physiotherapist asked me the same questions that were on the form that I had previously answered (which she had in her hand). Following this other half hour of talking about my issues with the physiotherapist she insisted on seeming me 3 times a week and told me that she would only put these electro-suction cups on my back to help relax the muscles and add heat. Dr. Lalonde WAS INCREDIBLY disrespectful. I had a pre-operation appointment for a surgery the next week, and I was unfortunately 10 minutes late. I ran into traffic, I felt really bad and I understand late patients are frustrating. Dr Lalonde walked in, SLAMMED THE DOOR and aggressively said "Why are you late?". Things happen, and I'm sorry that I was late but that does not warrant my doctor to behave in such a manner that I'm too uncomfortable to even ask questions about my surgery!
