I've used diabetic shoe inserts for 20+ years, with wedges placed on the top side of the insert, which successfully alleviated pain for hammer toe & bunion on one foot. Last fall after 4 days using the new diabetic shoe inserts Dr Ray prescribed,with no correction for hammer toe &bunion-caused lots of pain-went back to my old inserts. A 2nd attempt on the new insert another failure. Now a 3rd option which I’m not doing. The 3 pairs new inserts have been used a total of 6 days-were pd by MEDICARE
