Weld was amazing and has been on a high stress area for over a year and still working great
Had a puncture in a steel header pipe that needed to be closed up. The work was quick and the weld looked immaculate. Ray was friendly and a cool guy to chat with. I'll be coming back for some work to be done on my next project!
Ray is one of the best tig welders I know especially aerospace quality work in titanium and 6061 aluminum. Trusted his work for over 30 years.
I wouldn't recommend this guy. I brought a piece in for him to weld. I asked him when he could have it ready, he gave me a day and said to come by in the afternoon. He asked for my phone number so he could call if he got it done earlier. I went in on the afternoon of the day he promised and he hadn't even touched it. I could understand if he had called me and said he was running behind but he didn't even bother to do that. So in my opinion you can't rely on this shop. Ray is the BEST welder I have ever worked with! I am from Oregon, and I have sent Ray a throttle body that is known to be very porous from factory, and he has demonstrated the best weld, on that style of throttle body I have ever seen! I have absolutely confidence in his work!
