It's always so nice to feel at ease with the care you know your dog is receiving while you're away from home. Mikel knows and loves dogs. We love that Asa can either stay inside in his heated/air conditioned room or go outside to his private closed-in patio--and that he gets extended potty and playing time in the large fenced in yard by himself a few times a day. Thanks Mikel!
I was very thankful and relieved to find Rawhide Ranch when I was relocating back to Wichita from Chicago and I had a 3-week time period where I needed a temporary home for my two little dogs! Mikel was very kind and would always return my text messages when I would check in on my boys. I will continue to take my pups to the Rawhide Ranch - and I highly recommend it to all my dog-owner friends!!!
Had Bandit out to Rawhide in August 2014.... he had a great time and came home a happy guy with no problems. I can't say enough about the great facilities, handling and attention to detail that is given to all pets and the perfect country setting for a pet to be in. The experience was awesome for me and my buddy Bandit.... Thanks Mikel & staff for this great place for pets... ~D~

Our four (YES! Count 'em, four!) dogs absolutely loved their stay at Rawhide Ranch! We were having to board one rescue pup who has attachment issues for the very first time, and we were very worried. EXcellent place to board your dog. Small enough in size that your pet get the extra attention they deserve. Mikel interaction with the dogs is great. Mine are excited to get there. Love the place and owner. Vera Rose Hill
Absolutely wonderful home away from home for our canine kids. They acted like we hadn t even left them. Very friendly dog loving environment. We will definitely be back. Our dogs stayed six days, it was their first stay and we were overjoyed to find a place that didn t traumatise the kids. We have bad experiences with other kennels and were apprehensive, but no more.
We have a rescue dog with a traumatic past, so we searched for just the right place to leave him. Rawhide Ranch was just what we needed for our dog. Mikel is a caring person and really goes the extra mile to meet the needs of the dogs in her care. Even though we were out of the country, Mikel kept in touch by email to let us know how Jake was doing. I highly recommend Rawhide Ranch, especially if you are looking for something different from a normal boarding experience.
