#106 gets a trim. A little off the top. Dusty business. Chopped and 75% finished.
#106 is in the can. This is gonna be interesting. Chop, on top of..., outside hinges, flip out windshield, cowl vent, great fun!!!
#105 gets a deck lid today and the previous weeks work produces most of #106's body parts. This coming week will have 106 ready to go together.
This is #104, a 34 coupe that I hauled to Waterloo Montana this last weekend. The gentleman that got this car is building it for his wife to drag race. Perks are, wilwood brakes all around, 4:56 gears on a spool, 5/8 rear studs, pro style rear 4bar with multiple holes for instant center adjustments, rack steering. He is gonna cage it for 8 second blasts and has a 540 Chevy motor for oomph.
Here is the #102 car and his brother the #104 car. 103 was the Bonny roadster, all 3 were in the shop at the same time. The roadster is gone, #102 is leaving any day and #104 has one foot out the door.
Some folks got to see this and some didn't. Didn't show up on my page.
Got the wood inside cleared this weekend.
3 things got ironed out today, the windshield wiper motor mounting, hood and removable back of the trans hump. The wiper motor shaft has to come thru the top of the windshield area and needs a flat surface for the seal to fit to, hence the "eyebrow". The hood is a 34 at the rear and 32 at the grill shell ( not as bad as it looks). Trans hump removable cover, for trans removal? It'll make it easier, always a good thing.
#102 gets a steering column. These headers really fit nice, they are Sanderson's.
