After over 5 years of complaining of abdominal pain, I finally found a dedicated physician who actually listened. He new more about me than I did. Before my appointment he had researched my past medical history, reviewed my previous tests and procedures. He told me things my other physicians had not found important. He knew that I had an issue and he was ready with a plan. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Mahajan did my first colonoscopy in 2014 and advised me at that time another one would not be required for 10 years. We moved out of State over a year ago but scheduled a trip back to Lafayette in February-March of this year to visit friends, and since it was time for me to have another Colonoscopy procedure, I decided to contact Dr. Mahajan’s office to see if he had any availability on his schedule to do this procedure again and his office found time for me. Dr. Mahajan has been my doctor for a number of years. Just recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. He is very thoughtful and thorough and has a very positive bedside manner. He takes the time to answer all your questions and provides you with all of the information you need to maintain a positive healthy lifestyle. His office staff is excellent, and I have no trouble getting an appointment. Very highly recommend Dr. Mahajan!!!
I was able to get an appointment quickly and my concerns were addressed. My condition required more diagnostic testing that was scheduled in a timely manner. I think Dr. Mahajan is very thorough. He genuinely cares about his patients and explains things in layman’s terms and offers solutions, lifestyle changes, i.e. dietary changes, and/or prescriptions as needed. His staff was very kind and helpful, as well.
