They deleted my old review so I’ll post a shorter one again: they steal your security deposit and promise a clean apartment at move in but do not deliver on it. Maintenance is fast but management is incredibly disrespectful. It’s not cheap and it’s far from campus, do yourself a favor and avoid if possible. Date of stay: 2021-2022 school year
This was my daughter's experience: "We rented a 4 bedroom apartment at Ravenwood for the 2023-24 school year and spent a whole 7 hours with all 4 of us vacuuming/mopping all the floors and wiping down all the surfaces, only to get back a lot less than half of our security deposit. On the list of charges they deducted, they charged us $75 EACH for each bedroom floor, and $50 to wipe down the kitchen countertops, as well as some damages that were already in the apartment when we moved in. The landlord and management are terrible. They haven't gave back my deposit for over a month after move-out, and the email responses are slow (haven't heard back after I sent 3-4 emails) and finally replied by being extremely rude: "You left a trashed unit with lots of damages, and you owe us money" without justifying the "damages", despite I lived here as a responsible tenant for one year, paying every rent on time. Very disappointed with them.
Lived here last year, and can confidently say it's the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. Strap in, because it's a lot. Firstly, maintenance is extremely slow and unresponsive to maintenance requests. Whenever something would break in my apartment, it would take oftentimes months for me to get a replacement for it (this is after following up at least 5 times).
