Dr Guevara has terrible manners and is unpleasant. I saw him twice and both times I was shocked at his demeanor. I will never see him again.
Dr Guevara thoughtfully proceeds with his exams and explains things thoroughly in a way that is easily understood. I always leave with my questions and concerns answered.
I was referred for optic nerve inflammation and migraines and a history of brain swelling and seizures. So I have had these issues for years. The first thing he told me within 5 mins and before any testing was that I was overweight. He said if I lost weight my problems would resolve. I explained I have had these issues even at my smallest. This doctor has terrible bedside manner. I’ve struggled with migraines for YEARS and hoped to get some answer from this referral. Instead of listening to me when I try to elaborate on a question, he immediately dismissed me and moved on to the next question. And continues on to tell me that I’m only experiencing migraines because I’m “severely overweight”.
