When I was diagnosed with DCIS in left breast by radiography (mammogram) every tech and nurse said you MUST see Dr Raul Zunzunegui…quickly. I’m have my MSN as a nurse practitioner but I knew just about zero about breast cancer. My colleagues suggested some great books, but Dr Z answered every question, taught me as if I were a fifth grader, comforted me and didn’t expect me be an expert because of my MSN. The Dr was really professional. I wasn't uncomfortable at all. He was through, and kind.
Dr. Zunzunegui is such a personable doctor. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. The staff is friendly, appointment was scheduled within a week and when he walked in the exam room it was 5 minutes before the appointment. I will follow up with him and was advised if I have questions or concerns before then to contact his office. Highly recommend!
