I had waited months for my neurology consult and I was NOT impressed with Dr. Bitra. I appreciate she suggested further diagnostics, but she clearly did not read my chart prior to the appointment, she was very short with me, didn’t explain anything, and only asked me a symptom checklist. If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Bitra was dismissive and wouldn't explain things. She stared at her computer. When I asked questions, she never answered them.
I work in healthcare in a clinic setting, so when I read the negative reviews I took them with a grain of salt. Thankfully, I could not have been more happy with my care. Dr. Bitra is straight forward and precise, as she should be. She asked me a lot of questions and gave me some meds that have greatly alleviated my pain. She was very professional and was exactly what I needed. So, if you are looking for a neurologist who is knowledgeable and straightforward, I would recommend Dr. Bitra.
If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Bitra is nothing more than a glorified headache doctor. I was established with her for MONTHS, started experiencing crippling nerve pain all over my body, She refused to address the situation and then refused to book an appointment with me after I was told to see her by an emergency room physician whom also directly messaged her. If you’re looking to just be thrown on 50 different medications and gas lit into thinking you’re crazy, this is your place.
Woefully incompetent. I am a disability advocate for a patient who is in need of a medical treatment. This Dr. Harmfully delayed a medical procedure for months due to an inability to get basic paperwork orders made and sent to necessary labs. Don't work with this dangerously incompetent dr.
