Nice change of pace – Ras Kassa's is a nice change of pace. Very good food that is unique and seems very healthy. Friendly service. Nice ambiance. I must admit that the indoor dining is a bit uncomfortable for me with the stools arranged around trays. But the patio is wonderful. Treat yourself to a nice, unique experience here.
Great food, great experience! This is more than a restaurant, it is an experience! The food is delicious but the best part is the traditional way it is served and enjoyed. You eat with your hands family style. The service is great with wonderful music and decorations. Great place to take family and friends!
Ras Kassa's Ethiopia Rstrnt is world class Ras Kassas was my first Ethiopian food experience and my best as well! I have lived and traveled many places and the food here cannot be beat! Served traditionally and amazingly delicious!
One of the best kept secrets in Boulder. – Located off the beaten path, the food and atmosphere are authentic. The service is great and I love the honey wine. It is a unique experience and one of our favorite places to go.
We've always gone to Ras Kassas for birthdays and anniversaries because it is such a great dining experience. The food is great - really amazingly flavored. The meals are family style - served on huge platters that pretty much dwarf the small tables. You do eat with your fingers, using spongy injera bread, which is always a challenge for first-timers. Just a warning - the place is very popular, so there is usually a wait.
Great food – My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has great options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The waitress was very nice and attentive. If you don't mind eating with your hands, this restaurant is definitely worth a try. We plan to dine there again.
AMAZING HONEY WINE. – i was very excited to try this place. walking in there you're like 'oooooo this is exotic' and yes, it is. its really fun because you eat with your hands, and the food is not heavy or overdone its very simple and very good. go here if you're into trying new things and being in an ambiance that makes you feel like you're no longer in boulder.
Unique resturant – I'm not sure if it's authentic or not, but I can tell you that the food was excellent. The place was unique and enjoyable. The finger eatting didn't bother me at all; it , in fact enhanced the atmosphere. I've gone there in groups and used it for a quiet romantic dinner, in both instances the place didn't didn't disappoint.
This food is good? Wouldn't know...never got any... – Well, I must say, this is the worst place ever. Why? Because all I got was a glass of water. 45 minutes after ordering my drink, appetizer, and food, NOTHING. My husband and I just decided to get up and leave, and as we were leaving our WAITRESS was standing at the bar with another waitress and was saying, "Have a nice night!" as we walked out the door Yea, you too.
