This review is for the Laboratory Department. I went there November 15th for blood work and the next day I received a call from them telling me that they didn’t turn the page to notice that there other tests that had to be taken. I went back November 18th and now they called me back November 30th to tell me they were still missing more tests. This is the best example for incompetence and negligence! I have had family become an emergency patient at Jersey Shore Meridian Health, and they were, and are, categorically wonderful. The only thing Perth Amboy does is pass the buck. They can't be bothered contacting primary health physicians when a person is admitted, unconcious, for emergencies.

Used to be one the greatest of hospitals. I don't know what happened, but the place is now dirty, the nurses are rude and incompetent. The doctor that was taking care of my father just wanted to give him heavy duty painkiller after painkiller; morphine one day, percocet the other. Six days no one came to bathe him, no one mopped the floor.

Recommend no one here. ER dept staff and especially nurses and doctor provide no patient care and did not see you even after 4 hrs of waiting despite of having chest pain and having elevated heart rate. Left AMA with no nurse or doctor caring for you. As a nurse I can relate why ppl refuse to go to ER and especially witnessing so many patients upset and left crying how they felt on how they were treated. Im so disappointed how this hospital has changed.
