Low budgets make staff to look to make profit against you - STAY AWAY The worst nightmare ever. Just entering in the ER front desk, you will see a lot of fluids in the floor, bathrooms were disgusting dirty, hallways, chairs, beds, they don't clean. I tested positive for covid-19 on 4/4/20. It started to get worse every day and eventually turned into pneumonia. The emergency room nurses were extremely accommodating and took good care of me. The nursing staff on the 2nd floor Ashley, Lisa, Kori and Dawn were amazing. I am sure I missed a few but everyone was very nice. I was discharged on 4/14 and I am still recovering at home. I will forever be grateful to them! God Bless each and every one of them.
This place is a joke! The nurses can’t even put in an iv properly. The doctors are not there for the well being of the patient. I literally cried in pain for hours and asked for pain medicine multiple times, when I finally got something 5 hours later it only worked for 20 minutes. Then when I asked to leave they refused to give me any of my records, antibiotics and a doctor’s note.
I have had family become an emergency patient at Jersey Shore Meridian Health, and they were, and are, categorically wonderful. The only thing Perth Amboy does is pass the buck. They can't be bothered contacting primary health physicians when a person is admitted, unconcious, for emergencies.

yes, just one in Perth Amboy not old bridge, I went to ob one it took doctor 3 hrs to see me and the doctor wasn't pleasent at all..but I was just in Perth Amboy one and they treated me very good and always checked on me ..I had not problem with this hospital
