Great LBS! Rare Earth Beads is a treat of a bead shop. The selection is beautiful. The prices are good. Lots of beautiful pieces around for inspiration and the staff is extremely helpful.
Great service, BEAUTIFUL beads! Oh my gosh! What an incredible shop! Initially, I went it to have a piece of jewelry repaired, but I was completely mesmerized by all the gorgeous stones! I signed up for a class (FREE, btw!) and have taken three more since then. The employees are all so friendly and personal - even remembered my name after the first visit. This place is a nightmare brought in a simple, beaded necklace for repair and experienced the worst, most disorganized service I have had in the triangle. Not sure how they stay in business! Initially, they gave me an outrageous quote to fix it, then kept it weeks---always putting me off when I inquired about it. After weeks of waiting for my item and broken promises from them, they returned the item to me broken!!. Save yourself the headache, shop elsewhere. This place is a nightmare when it comes to repairs.
Made to feel right at home! I love natural gemstones. When I want to be inspired in jewelry beading I visit Rare Earth Beads. They have the best selection by far, their prices are fair and I can always count on the quality being the best. All the ladies that work their have been so nice to me. They all make me feel at home. I recommend this store highly. If there were a sixth star I would have checked that!
Bead Heavan! We visit Durham North Carolina every year for about two months for medical reasons. I can always count on Rare Earth Beads to outdue my expectations on their quality, service and selection. IT IS TRULY BEAD HEAVAN! Their fiendly and knowledgable staff make it a pleasure to shop there. Without exception they all make me feel right at home! Looking forward to my next visit!

I love Rare Earth Beads. I will always recommend them. I really wish you could shop online and either get delivered or pick up curbside.
