I can’t say anything but good things about my experience at Rare Bridal! Some places make you feel rushed and overwhelmed but rare allowed you to be transported into fairytale land to try on all the dresses you felt you needed to try. I was super anxious to start wedding dress shopping because I had no idea what I wanted and was not sure how I would look in a wedding dress. Through the Wisconsin Brides Facebook group, I found Rare Bridal after a person suggested it being the perfect place for plus size brides. When I started looking at wedding dress shopping, the first thing I searched for was “plus size wedding dresses Wisconsin” because I wanted to make sure I was able to find a place that catered to my body type and didn’t have a limited selection/corner of the store designated for me. I wanted the real experience like any other bride would. Rare was the only store of its kind I was able to find in Wisconsin, and I’m so happy I did. My experience was absolutely incredible. They made me feel comfortable and understood. I have anxiety when it comes to shopping, so I was really worried about what my experience would be shopping for my wedding gown. I had an appointment on Saturday with Jimmy and even though I ended up finding my dress at another shop, I wanted to share how great of an experience I had at Rare and how amazing Jimmy was.
