They put my friends cat's life in jeopardy and did not even call her back for 5 1/2 hours after the kitties mass burst. Then when she called after waiting 5 1/2 hours Dr Updike was rude to her and basically called her a liar. Those 5 1/ 2 hours were precious time she could have used to find a caring vet. I am shocked by the doctor's lack of compassion.

SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE! My cat has a cancerous mass that has started to ulcerate and needs to be removed. She was diagnosed at UofI, and they recommended leaving the mass alone until and if it ulcerated. Today, when I called Rantoul Veterinary Clinic, I was told they would check with the doctor and call me back. FIVE AND A HALF HOURS LATER, they had still not returned my call, so I called them. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here.
