Before I went to Dr. Ranta, I had anxiety about going to the dentist, but I no longer do. His chair-side manner, thoroughness, and overall professionalism is top notch. I would recommend Dr. Ranta to my mother (and did!)
Dr. Ranta is great. Even when I went to graduate school in Maryland, I continued to use Dr. Ranta as my dentist during my visits back home to Seattle. The two dentists I did use in Maryland both commented without prompting about the quality of the dental work done. He is great!
Dr. Ranta is superior in his technique, detail and in his quality of work. Each time I have been referred out of the office for other specialist work - I am told what excellent dental work I have had done. My sister has moved out of this area and she too is told the same. The office may not be all fancy, but the work he performs will out-do any dentistry of someone who has the fancy-spa like office any ol' day!
I have been going to Dr. Ranta since I first got teeth. He is the absolute best! I pitty the day he retires. I guess I will just have to let my teeth fall out! Thanks to him, I have a healthy mouth and have not had to have any procedures other than elective. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone. Dr Eric Ranta is a great dentist technically and with a great chair-side manner. He has been both respectful and reassuring as he works with me and my anxiety about being on the receiving end of dental work. Probably why I've remained a patient for 14 years, even after moving work and home to another part of town.
Great Guy. Very nice and I respect his judgment. He often calls you personally as opposed to his office staff; very personal treatment. I would recommend him to anyone.
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Ranta and his wonderful staff for many years, for cleaning, fillings and crowns. My wife, when she was a child, had some bad experiences with a dentist, so wanted someone very patient and gentle who would stop when she needed a break and provide good pain relief. I on the other hand, like to get in and out quickly so tend to go without novacaine for small fillings. They have accomodated both of us very nicely.
Eric Ranta is great, very easy-going and personable dentist. As I have been a patient of his for a while, I was particularly impressed with his obligation to the patient. The process of explaining all the x-rays, as well as what he was doing and why, really contributed in my confidence in him. Also, I do not know if he uses a special anesthetic, but my jaw was starting to tingle before he even took the needle out.
