Dr. D is obviously good at what he does however he overbooks his patients, up to 47 appoints per day and then expects you to wait for a minimum of three hours past your appointment time to see him. His office is always packed but the staff gets annoyed if you try to wait in your car and have them call you to let you know when its finally your turn. I do not recommend at all. I have a serious condition in both eyes and was referred to him. Although it took a long time for my apt to be scheduled, the nurses were very nice. Dr Dhaliwal, on the other hand, not so much. I guess he found it appropriate to make judgmental comments on the fact I am married and have a newborn at only 21. He was also curious to know what my parents thought of my tatoo. I am a foreigner and have been previously diagnosed in my own country, so i brought all of my paperwork. Dr.R Dhaliwal and his staff have gone above and beyond to make me feel important and take great care of my eye issues. I have a friend with the same eye issue with another Doctor that has not had the positive treatment I have had. All during my time Dr. Dhaliwal has told me what to expect and he was spot on all the time.If you have eye issues and you want great care and treatment Dr. R Dhaliwal and his staff even during these difficult times is ware to go!!
I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. This is the slowest doctor office I've ever been in or taken any of my family members to. I believe he wants to make all the money. I wouldn't give them 1 STAR. He should not schedule so many people or get some more help treating patients. Other Doctors should stop recommending patients to him.
Was referred to Dr. Dhaliwal for exam and potential eye surgery. Unfortunately he may be an excellent doctor, but his confidence/arrogance is a bit overwhelming. Staff tells you the reason everyone has to wait at least 2-3 hours to be seen is because he refuses to wait on a patient! This is even more troublesome since the staff insists everyone have a driver even though it is not needed! We were gearing up to schedule the surgery, and the staff told us he does not take patient calls.
