I lost my dog in my divorce. Because I work 40 hours for a living and my ex husband doesn't work at all and has 24/7 to spend with the dog. When Cody asked any questions to my ex husband about the dog the question wasn't answered. So why work for living nobody cares about us people that go to work every day. So I believe Cody doesn't want to really want to fight for his ceilent.
