We had a disappointing experience at Range Steakhouse last night before attending Hamilton at the Majestic. Sorry for the long post but this is the abridged version. Bottom line the restaurant was practically empty. Only 2 other small tables were occupied. Both were waited on, served and paid prior to our table even receiving our meals. Restaurant close to empty before a show, folks arriving after us ordered, fed, and left before any food was delivered. Lasagna was burnt, filet mignon was an end piece and not tender. One diner didn’t even get his meal after over an hour. Blamed service on a handful of bar patrons most of whom were not eating. Female manager was informed and wouldn’t even provide her name.

Amanda was an amazing server for our group of four. The food at this place is really top notch but hands down what makes it memorable is the southern hospitality. Giovanna is their GM but she made our three nights, and three visits, really memorable. If you want great food and southern hospitality, come to Range!
