Lack of reliability is my main concern. On multiple occasions errors on the providers side have left me in crisis. The ineffective or non- existent follow up to those errors is the norm. Provider turn over has also been a considerable barrier to gaining traction with appropriate treatment planning. With all my concerns and frankly added turmoil to my well being, I encourage you to find any alternative available to you. You're worth it.

These places depend largely on quality of staff. Some were outstanding, others at the opposite end of spectrum. Overshadowing all of it was a Medical Director who is without brains as much as they don't come. An ultra sensitivity body to medications, 25 years ago a brilliant psychiatrist & I worked up a combination of 2 medications to work after a hysterectomy which was botched by the surgeon, left me with some brain damage that's progressive and depression. Range Treatment Center is definitely the place to go to on the Iron Range for inpatient treatment! I am even extremely impressed with how well they immediately accommodated my food allergies! Being able to eat properly definitely makes a difference in how much someone recovers after addiction! The staff here is amazing & the facility being nonprofit makes it obvious to how they do everything that they can to help each & every person who comes in! Being a smaller facility it's easier for them to be more focused on each person... read more
