This place is amazing! Vivi was very accommodating to my allergies (celiac) and a bubbly spirit that made us come back for brunch the next day. The arugula salad, steak and salmon were so yummy. Ask for a side of the spicy ketchup with the potatoes, it’s so good! It’s a seasonal farm to table restaurant and you can tell how fresh everything is. Their desserts are amazing too! We got the flight of deserts. All gluten free, but my husband loved them and is very picky. The pistachio cake was our favorite.
One of my favorite places in Chicago! I’ve been for brunch a few times and for a (special birthday) dinner, and it is unreal. Seriously such a gem, that I hope for them is not so hidden!!! The food is so fresh and sourced locally, amazing gluten free options (and protocols), and the service is fab.
We were so excited to try Range after reading good reviews for gluten free options. While our server was lovely and the food was good, we will not be back. We had made a reservation (not walk-ins) and were seated at 11:15. Party of 5 from 4 different households. We ordered apps right away. Got them at 11:30. This place is so delicious idk why there’s not a line out the door! Went with friend she had the burger I had broccoli turnip cake (which I know the name is a little off putting) and it was honestly one of my favorite meals I can remember. She said burger was delicious too. Drinks were delicious Lots of veggie options as well. Can’t wait to try brunch!
So normally this place is a 5 star. Amazing food. Amazing staff and service. However I went here with my family recently after talking this up for years and then when my wife went to sub the pulled pork on the chilaquiles for chicken they added an 8 dollar fee. To sub chicken not to add it, they did not give us the pork that was subbed. When I asked them about this fee they just said that's the price. $21 for the base chilaquiles with pulled pork is one thing. $29 for chicken chilaquiles with the pork removed is not super co... read more
