Doctor Smith today very good job.
Dr. Smith's communication style is minimalist and unhelpful. We had to glean the cause of my husband's double vision events from his rapid fire dictation to an assistant. He told us nothing and dismissed us saying he could not help us since there was no abnormality with the eyes. Had he spent a little time inquiring and explaining, we would have realized that blood thinners were critical for my husband. His lack of interest caused a great deal of stress trying to figure things out on our own.
I chose him to do my cataract surgery because for many years he had showed understanding and offered good advice about some risk factors that I have. I was very pleased with the outcome including toric lens correction for astigmatism.
Having cataract surgery: one eye was very successful; the other, not so much. Blurry even 3 months after surgery. Apparently I have "weak corneas" which didn't show up in screening/testing. Huh.
Excellent! Expert in his eye surgery specialty. You can trust that he knows what he is doing. Added bonus: Has a good sense of humor to go with all that knowledge!
Daughter I have medical power of attorney. My Dad, Lawrence Giltz wants to see better and thinks that laser can be performed on him. He said he was told that. However, I have heard that if you are over 65 yrs., that is not so.
owner of Lovoy's Restaurant I have been to this doctor twice. (I rated him excellent in ease of getting an appointment because he has no patients it seems, and wait time during the visit as good because I seemed to be the only patient there in the office for the duration of my visit). I didn't like him in the first appointment, but decided to give him a "second" chance and returned for a follow up appointment to be further disappointed.
