He performed the abdominal incision on a major 360 spinal fusion. To put it simply, he screwed up so badly that he severed all my abdominal nerves. When discussed he looked at the mri/x-ray and responded "it happens" the the results on the table and said "someone from my office will call you and to schedule to fix this" stormed out of the room. Medical malpractice and negligence is all I can say. Please tell me how a 39 year old doing a spinal fusion ends up with dead bowel, a bile leak, and then his death???. Own up to your mistakes during my family members surgery. He was perfectly healthy. Now a single mom of two kids has to live without her high school sweetheart. Don’t choose this dr. He lies and covers up his medical errors.

I have never personally received care from Dr. Kirby but I would encourage you to look into his stand against Christopher Duntsch for a testament to his character. Having never met him, I trust that Dr. Kirby has a very good heart and takes the care of his patients very personally. Thank you for doing the right thing and not the easy thing.

I would go see Dr.Kirby just from him having the courage to risk his medical career to stop Christopher Duntch from “practicing medicine “! If he had not pushed so hard to have this disturbed doctor from practicing there is no doubt many more innocent lives and bodies would be destroyed. Thank You! I have had many surgeries and I can tell you are very gifted!

I had surgery on 8/3/15 and I am still trying to get a refund of over 500.00 that I paid and the insurance has paid some but not all. Dr.Kirby's billing office says it is BCBS problem and BCBS says it is a billing problem. No one is willing to help me. I have been dealing with this for almost 2 years and I am beyond frustrated!
