I consulted with Dr. Jennings because of hip pain. He discussed the X Ray and MRI findings in great detail and suggested solutions, the best it turns out (got a 2nd opinion confirming) at this point a joint replacement. He uses the anterior approach. When I mentioned my nickel allergy he suggested a number of alternative materials and knew diverse options. Dr. Jennings performed a brostrom procedure on my extremely unstable ankle in the fall of 2019. Prior to the surgery I would majorly sprain my ankle once or twice a year and it would swell to softball size. Since this procedure I have yet to have a major ankle sprain. The synthetic ligaments act like a seatbelt for my ankle. Dr. Jennings precision and attention to detail has allowed me to have a normal ankle again. I Would highly recommend Dr. Jennings for any type of orthopedic surgery.
I've never met a ruder medical provider. He is cold, rigid, and is not friendly what so ever. I did not even finish my post surgical follow-ups because I felt so nervous being around him.
Run--if you can--the worst 'doctor's I've ever had in 48 years!!! Obnoxious bullying & mocking of patients & patients' needs; even lacks the skills to boot. A sham & ashame we have Jennings here in CB & NB as we deserve so much better!!! Go to Southcoast or Eugene (as i had to do; otherwise, i would be crippled & in a wheelchair for the rest of my life). Thank God I found a competent & kind expert ortho in Eugene who had to perform emergency surgery after this Jennings clodhopper would not LISTEN, saying it was chronic pain.... read more
