Very thorough evaluation & detailed explanation I could understand. Dr. Randall’s physician assistant, Megan, very professional information gathering at the beginning of my appointment.
I had back surgery at 3 levels in October. I had suffered from severe lumbar stenosis at several levels and had difficulty walking more that 200-300 feet before significant pain and leg weakness set in and I had to sit down for several minutes before I could walk even a short distance again. I recently had spinal surgery for persistent sciatica with Dr. Jeffrey Randall of Pacific Brain and Spine Medical Group. The whole process from start to finish was excellent, despite an unexpected wait because of the shutdown of elective surgeries due to COVID. Dr. Randall has helped my wife with her back. Now I'm having some of the same issues. Amongst the doctors we see, Dr. Randall is number one! And my first appointment was a Telemedicine video conference! Amazing technology, brought about by the Pandemic, but it is a sea change in how medical care is going to be delivered going forward. Kudos to Dr. Randall for pioneering this technology!
Its hard to know quite where to start, as my entire experience with Dr Randall and his staff was amazing from start to finish. Seventeen days ago, Dr.Randall operated on me at Eden Hospital. The procedure was an L4-L5 fusion. The whole experience, from my initial meeting with him to follow-up after surgery has been excellent. Dr. Randall took his time with me, answering all of my questions thoroughly. I saw Dr. Randall as a second neurosurgeon consult to treat my worsening and severe sciatica. The first surgeon we didn't like at all as he appeared as knowing it all and very defensive,totally unlike Dr. Randall, who presented the case and said it was of course my decision. Went for a second opinion after a surgeon recommended a 3-level lumbar fusion. Dr. Randall proposed a much more conservative surgery, performed it and I am pain-free. Dr. Randall is also warm, kind and a terrific teacher: he will explain precisely what he thinks the problem is and how he proposes to address it. Couldn't ask for more in a surgeon. Staff is great too
