With the need to house 5 children it was a blessing to find a four bed suite at the Best Western that was value rated. The breakfast was amazing and it enjoyed by all. The hot waffles, scrambled eggs, and the sausage links were delicious.

Check-in was very fast and courteous. Once in my room I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness and decor. The king size bed was very spacious and comfortable. The room I stayed in had a balcony (which I loved) that faced the highway which could be loud at times but I found myself not noticing it especially if the patio door was closed. Everything about my stay at Bestwestern was great. I was very impressed with the lobby upgrade which gave me high hopes for the room quality. I wasn't disappointed, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom linen was fresh and clean as were the bed sheets. Staff was very helpful at all times, I never walked past a staff member without being greeted with a smile. I stayed at the Best Western Continental Inn on Saturday, August 29th, afternoon, until Sunday August 30th, morning, the temps outside were over 100° outside, but the air conditioners cooled the room down to a very comfortable 68°. Everything else -- the pool, the jacuzzi, the breakfast in the morning, the attention of the staff, was exemplary.

I reserved less than 1 day in advance with the great price and was able to use my points. The room, 241, is clean and is not noisy. The bed is good with the generous pillows. There is great customer service in the lobby and dining room. My husband and I did enjoy the great breakfast with high quality of bagels, croissants, and cereals. There is water melon besides the basic fruits. All the food is refilled promptly.

It is a small motel; my room was very clean, I had enough towels and since it was a hot day I was able to enjoy the pool as well. Breakfast was a big plus for me. I did not see any "shady" activity as described by other people, but keep in mind that you are going to El Cajon! I will be staying at the hotel again next month. Great value!

service attitude of a 4 star hotel. the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. the towels were not great but not thin either. it is right next to freeway so while my room was a building away and not noisy, i suspect the room in the building next to the fwy may be noisy.
