Rancho and Jeff have been managing my properties since 2008. He’s excellent at what he does. He has great communication skills, work ethic and I like working with him. He always keeps it rented with good tenants while keeping expenses down.
I’m an owner and have been working with Rancho / Jeff Z for years. He’s done a great job in managing my properties. He communicates well, keeps costs down while keeping the properties occupied, even increasing rents. He’s happy to work with me on improvements to the property. April 1st 2021. Do not trust this management company. Jeff Zanks does not manage your property like a management company should. He does not work for you, he works for himself, My property was not managed well and you lay your trust in them to make sure you home is being managed, that is why you are paying them. My Tenants moved out end of February 2021 and Jeff Stated he is going to hang on to the keys for cleaning crew Merry Maids until 3/16/2021.. Here’s what happened - There was not enough in the deposit to cover the tenant charges which included the $800 utility charge as well as over $600 for both house and carpet cleaning. Rancho ended up having to pay over $300 to the cleaner as a result. In addition, Rancho offered to address some items post move out but Ella P refused to pay for any of it. Sept 2020 After almost four years of renting from this property manager who is not accredited with the BBB, in a dive of an apartment, where the only updates since the place was built in 1986 are the ones I PAID FOR, I still have nothing positive to say about Jeff Z***. I actually do love my home. This property manager has a box at a UPS store - not an office. He does not give receipts for proof of rent being paid. No one forced Debbie M to apply for, sign a lease for and renew her lease at this apartment home. And she loves her “dive” of an apartment. Properties are like a business as the owner can’t really spend more than the property earns. Her request came in when the property had new tenant expenses and we were not able to accommodate it as a result. I am sorry about that.
