Went to eat there at 9:05pm on Thursday and was told they close at 9pm when it clearly says they close at 10pm
I LOVE Rancho Fresco! The name says it all. Their ingredients are always fresh, and their tortillas de harina are to die for! You always get a LOT of food at a great price. The music is usually pretty loud, but some people might really like that. Definitely nothing fancy, so if you're looking for a quiet romantic getaway, this is not your place. But with the delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly service, you can't go wrong.
Food is below average -huevos rancheros, corn tortilla under eggs difficlt to cut, no tortillas, chips, salsa or water served with breakfast. Food quality below the Mexican restaurants i have frequented here in Modesto. Here for breakfast at 9: 12, freezing in the restaurant. Second time I have eaten here, last time was in.the late after noon. Overall, 2 stars out of 5. Ordered at the counter. Never stopped by to ask how I was doing. Ate half the breakfast. Very disappointed. Will not come again
