I just wanted to say thank you to Rancho Alegre Farm for such a great party on Saturday. Everyone said that was the best birthday party they have ever been to (and we go to lots of parties, LOL). Rancho Alegre really made my daughter's day special. They have a beautiful farm! Thank you to Pilar for sharing it with us for the day. Everything was absolutely perfect!
I am sorry to say that the negative reviews about this barn are all true. (Check out yahoo and kudzu reviews - most of these have been written by the owner, Pilar, herself under her relative's email addresses.) I have seen trainer after trainer come and go due to their disgust with the owner's dishonest business practices as well as their total disregard for the health and well being of the horses. Pilar and Juan leave their own horses confined to a stall for days on end with no turn-out, and just skip feeding altogether if ... read more
I am sorry to say that the negative reviews about this barn are all true. (Check out Yahoo! reviews as well). They breed and train Paso Finos from Colombia, which if you have never seen in action, they are truly a natural wonder and an addiction to ride. They also host parties and other events at the ranch which have yielded nothing but extremely loyal and satisfied customers. Owners Pilar an... read more
I agree with the comment above. The horses are brought in by opening the gate and letting them run all over the property, through piles of discarded metal and garbage until they pick a stall. Pilar is full of empty promises and like the above is a money hoard. She doesn't pay her employes and the horses are ignored. Horrible environment for human and equine.
Rancho Alegre Farm has a 4.4 star rating with 114 reviews.
Rancho Alegre Farm is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
