I would not let Dr. Ramsey Shehab treat my dog!! He has NO EMPATHY whatsoever. I saw him in April of 2022, and got an injection in my knee for osteoarthritis. He DID NOT NUMB MY KNEE before inserting what appeared to be a 4"inch needle in my knee! I screamed out loud because the pain was so excruciating. I asked him why he didn't put a numbing solution on my knee first, and he ignored me. Two female staff came into the room laughing, saying "We heard you down the hall". Dr. Shehab is by far one of the best Doctors I’ve ever seen. Not only is he a great doctor but he is a genuinely good person who would go out of his way to help anybody that he could. I highland recommend him for any of your sports medicine needs.
Saw me for 5 minutes. Asked me one question about my injury. He the diagnosed my injury and sent me to get an ultrasound. After I received my ultrasound results I discovered that Dr. Shehab misdiagnosed my injury, maybe if he slowed down to ask what was going on he wishing have made this mistake, but never bothered to follow up with any info on The actual injury. Stay away from Dr. Shehab and Henry Ford Health.
Seen Dr. Shehab for a torn elbow tendon and other damages. He went over the Tenex treatment option with me and we decided to move forward with the treatment. The day of the procedure him and his staff went in and did what they needed to do which only lasted maybe an hour. Since the procedure I have been in to see Dr. Shehab for follow ups. During my encounters I’d have to say that I would recommend him as well as return to him if another procedure is needed in the future. Him and his staff have excellent bedside manner.
