I went to this clinic for 3 years and honestly regret the time and money I spent. Most appointments were pointless — I’d get weighed, asked a half-hearted “how’s your mood?” with no eye contact, and then told to book the next session. I would leave feeling worse than when I arrived. At one stage I was even prescribed a very high dose of medication that my pharmacist flagged as unusual. I am forever grateful for the support and care I have received at Ramsay Clinic. I have been through the public health system and my mental health only got worse. The staff are all respectful and willing to listen and show care and empathy. Ryan is a champ and a very caring and insightful person. Very inspiring. Dr Liang has been very helpful and was able to help me understand my new diagnosis of BPD. It's understandable some may walk away feeling frustrated and uncared for. The staff all have extremely poor bedside manner (psychiatrists, nurses, support staff), which is harmful for people struggling with their mental health. The management is also poor and medications were not administered on time (or at all on one occasion). I would not send a loved one here again.
My daughter recently rang this hospital to try and arrange an admission. She has a variety of mental health problems including major depressive disorder, autism, mood disorder, and alcohol addiction. She was very frightened of relapsing and I had been nagging her to ring this Hospital. I was sitting next to her when she spoke the admissions nurse. My experience with Dr Liang, is more than I expected, the staff are helpful and understanding, I qm glad that Dr Liang was able to see my son today, my son was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD since 2015 today was my son first time seeing Dr Yichao Liang. even there was small details needed to be fixed before next appointment is booked
