Dr Pri Wettasinghe diagnosed me with ADHD about three years ago, and it made a huge difference in my life. He was professional, calm, and easy to talk to, which made the whole process feel a lot less daunting. He took the time to listen and explain things properly, and I never felt rushed or judged. I’m genuinely grateful for his ongoing care and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking help.
Northside has definitely lost some of its spark, though a few rare staff still shine — the kind who actually care and make you feel seen. My experience was uneven, and at times I faced discrimination from nurses and admissions, along with feeling like just another number in day group. If the hospital wants its charm back for the long run, it needs stronger foundations — starting with warmth, genuine care, and a little more heart.
northside has always been a safe space for me in recovery and i highly recommend it for people seeking help. in i’m sad reading the reviews and seeing that many patients had negative experiences in the ramsay clinic. i have been admitted 3 times to the eating disorder unit throughout ages 14-18. although the atmosphere may be tense, it is not the clinics fault. mental illnesses are extremely competitive and northside does everything they possibly can to support the patients. the nurses on level 7 gave me so much comfort and ... read more
Lovely experience on Level 3. Staff were helpful and friendly. My consultant was kind and empathetic, and I felt calm and comfortable in his presence. Glad I came here.
