I've been watching Dr Joanna Moncrieff and Dr Josef Witt-Doerring on YouTube and there's evidence that depression is not a serotonin imbalance, this is just something pharmaceutical companies teach psychiatrists and doctors to sell the product. What anti depressants do is mask symptoms and over a period of time you will become dependent on the medication requiring an increase in the dosage. UPDATE: I contacted them as they requested in their response and they did not respond AT ALL. Hence 2 stars now becomes 1 and only because 0 is not an option. This place is appalling. the 2 stars should represent 5 stars for the nursing staff who are amazing. I had a 3 week stay here earlier this year. My admission was due to severe complications relating to ADHD burnout and depression. My treating Dr refused to factor in the ADHD as apparently the health funds don't allow it.
