The only reason I'm giving it a star is because of one nurse that acted on my worries regarding my husband. My husband was admitted with severe depression. He arrived weighing 55kgs and was admitted to hospital 3 weeks later weighing 46kilos with severe malnutrition. You could tell he had lost so much weight but nothing was done. His mental health deteriorated within 3 weeks and they did nothing apart from upping his meds which were wrong for him. I was told he got lost in the system. How can that happen. Well my experience with Ramsay (endoscopy) has been very good. The admin and medical staff have been friendly, attentive to our needs and professional. I particularly like their messaging service that keeps you up to date on admission and discharge so that you are not waiting too long for pickup.
I’m only going to share details of the facility and broad staffing issues. 1. My bathroom was riddled with ants and I raised this on three separate occasions and was told this would be addressed but no one ever followed this up so I was dealing with ants every time I had access (albeit limited) to my bathroom. 2. Been there 3 times in pretty bad shape. Cannot fault the staff or the facility. Was a sanctuary to rebuild.
Very bad experience! There are much better places and more helpful and polite staff!
